Tento druh tuje patrí medzi tie najvyššie. Aj u nás v parku sa jedná o jedinca, ktorý svojou výškou dominuje. Celoročne zelená farba zabezpečuje kontrast hlavne v zimných mesiacoch, kedy sa v jej okolí nachádzajú opadnuté listnaté stromy. Typickým znakom je nápadne lesklý výhon z vrchnej strany a matný zo spodu.

This species is one of the tallest. It is also a dominant specimen in our park. Its year-round green color provides contrast, especially in the winter months, when there are fallen deciduous trees in its vicinity. A typical feature is a strikingly shiny shoot on the top and a matte one on the bottom.
